History
The Cochrane Chapter of the network began in 2005 by Jim Messner and his associates and was quickly followed by other Chapters in the city of Calgary. The idea was to provide an atmosphere where networking could happen naturally and where ideas could be shared that would be valuable to a variety of business owners.

The Calgary and Cochrane Business Network provides a wide variety of breakfast, lunch, and dinner meetings for the purposes of networking with others and to increase the skill levels and knowledge of our members. It is our goal to assist you in your success.
Advertising With A Difference
Advertising is available to Level 3 Members as well as MasterMind Members. We realize though, that not everyone can get out to our networking events and yet you would love to show your support and reap the benefits of engaging with other business owners, sales people, entrepreneurs, bloggers and corporate executives without having purchased a Membership. We have created two levels of annual advertising just for you!
Annual Advertising Level 1 – $500
- You will be featured on this page of our website.
- You may post events on our Calendar that are relevant to the needs of our members.
- You may write an article with links back to your website up to four times a year.
- You will be featured in our outgoing email newsletter at least once each year.
- We will recommend you for the FREE advertising section of the Canadian Shoppers Club which is available to small and medium sized businesses.
Annual Advertising Level 2 – $1000
- You will be featured on this page of our website.
- You may post events on our Calendar that are relevant to the needs of our members.
- You may write an article with links back to your website up to four times a year.
- You will be featured in our outgoing email newsletter at least once each year.
- We will recommend you for the FREE advertising section of the Canadian Shoppers Club which is available to small and medium sized businesses.
- We will have Rick Gold our videographer do a 3 minute interview style video with you to be featured on this website. This video will be posted on You Tube and available for your use in any marketing promotion that you desire.
- Loyal2U Marketing will build you 2 email newsletter or marketing pieces and promote you online for 30 days using their unique social media vortex.
- You will get one free copy of 31 Days To Twitter Mastery by Darlene Hull at Hotspot Promotions to assist you in your own social media marketing.
